Building control

Building control is a service that ensures building work meets minimum standards of safety, health, and energy efficiency, as outlined in the Building Regulations.

It’s a process involving plan checks, site inspections, and issuing completion certificates to ensure compliance with these regulations.

We provide a joint building control service with Huntingdonshire District Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council. It operates under the name of 3C Shared Services.

The team provides an effective and professional service that is excellent value for money. Our qualified staff have a vast amount of experience and knowledge of all types of buildings and construction methods.

We are a member of the Local Authority Building Control partner authority scheme. This enables architects and developers to submit all applications to a single authority and helps to ensure consistency.
